Has your life turned upside down recently - or have you found yourself wondering who you are, where you belong or what comes next?

Counselling

Perhaps something significant has changed - a bereavement, a relationship change, your work, your family or the life you thought you would be living. Or perhaps there isn’t one obvious reason, but you feel lost, unsettled or unsure of your place in things anymore.

The things that once took your time, attention and direction may no longer be there . You might find yourself wondering who you are in this space, what matters to you, or what you want the next part of your life to look like.

How might Counselling help?

Counselling can give you space to understand what has changed, explore what you are feeling and begin to make sense of where you find yourself now.

You don’t have to have the answers, make any decisions or hold everything together. I walk beside you as we untangle what is happening, identifying any parts that are keeping you stuck and making room for new possibilities. Sometimes that means comings to terms with what cannot be changed; sometimes it means discovering what can change , or what you would like to change.

The aim isn’t necessarily to get you back to who you were before. It is to help you understand where you are now, reconnect with what matters to you and find your way forward.

How I Work

My counselling is grounded in psychosynthesis, an approach that recognises that we are more than the difficulties we are experiencing.

Rather than only asking “what is wrong?”, psychosynthesis is also interested in “what is happening within you?” and “what might be trying to emerge?”. It gives us the opportunity to explore your past and the patterns that have shaped you, while also paying attention to who you are becoming and what may give your life meaning now.

I work relationally and at your pace. I won’t give you a formula for how your life should look or which direction to take. My role is to guide you to understand yourself more deeply and find the way forward that feels true for you.
